Key Binding
I was re-doing my keys earlier today and obviously ran into couple of dilemma with setting up all my heroes' and myself up in a convenient manner.
A friend of mine, who plays World of Warcraft, said that WoW has this sort of advanced option for key binding. Basically, it is possible to assign 'A' to a certain action and Alt + 'A' to a different action. So far, I haven't had much luck setting up my Guild Wars hotkeys that way. What I'd really like to do is be able to switch back and forth between two completely different set ups by using Caps Lock although being able to use Alt would be just as well. So, does anyone know if it is possible to customize more complicated Guild Wars hotkeys by using Caps lock or ctrl/alt? |

I'm assuming you mean this kind of thing:
When you press J, it, say, uses skill 1. When you press Shift+J, it uses skill 2. Can't be done. I was binding earlier and I tried it. Here's a hint: Use your numpad numbers, as they count as different keys. |

Actually, I think I might know of a way. Requires a little hack, but might work. Its untested, but I am going to test it right now as Ive been pondering the same...
Nope, trying to use an external program to directly send Shift+k and such doesn't work. Last edited by Xunlai Secret Agent; May 12, 2008 at 04:03 AM // 04:03.. |
